-red eyes in the morning- let there be no good or evil, vice or virtue. let there be no past or future, reminiscence or hope. for in this void, i see that smile so familiar yet so distant. it seemed like it could go on forever. i smile, in return, like it did not hurt. i say, i would have cried, if i had a shoulder that familiar. i say, i would have teared, if tears were that sombre. yet, in the bitterness i taste, and the sweet voices in my head, i lay my spinning head to rest, saying, 'i'd trade tomorrow for yesterdays', and waking up to the red eyes in the morning.
