Ants don't live in HK My second time to HK(28th April to 13th May). went with cousin, her mother, and her grandparents. free accomodation. who could say no? as usual, couldnt get used to standing on the right of the escalator. gotta keep telling sales people that i dont understand/speak in cantonese. hkd had to be converted to sgd for logical decision making. not that all decisions were logical. not that they had to. what's the point of travelling anyway? that. yes. and that. and that too. didnt really take pics. but yea, here are some! but of course, they do not, in any way, represent HK in whole, and should not, in any way, stop you from going to HK. the same click-to-enlarge rule applies. ![]() Advertisement on stairs! not seen in sg! or i have not, at least. "the models in the stairs are so beautiful!" ![]() one of the super small guest house we were staying at. then i moved out to stay with my cousin, who's living in HK with her bf, after my aunt and her family went back to sg. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Macdonald's menu and the things we dont have (in sg). i want sg mac to have salads! ![]() "Of course we dont have such a view in sg!" we had sth similar in amk. ![]() SG STYLE! u wont get to see this in HK! minimum dress code in hk (applies to kids): jeans+shoes or heels + dress + gucci/lv/prada bag ![]() ![]() HK Lan Kwai Fong is more happening than sg clarke quay cause LKF has spidey. dancing. and other people drink/dance on the streets. and finally, ![]() when you thought the situation in sg was quite bad. the sunday maids hang out area stretches many hundred metres. or kilometres. right outside shopping centres. when i got back to sg: i still divide whatever i see on price tags by 5. i stand on the right of escalators(i stand on the left now of course) the sun doesnt rise so early. streets are quieter by 11. taxi/bus/mrt fares are v much cheaper. sg is more fattening (not the food.)(or maybe) the sun in sg is still trying to kill everyone. and that everyone else has watched 'spiderman 3'. (i now have.) i miss missing sg. but i still love the cheap bus/mrt/taxi rides in sg. and the friends. Labels: HK For you.
